Quality, Value & Service are the key values on which we have built our business. For three generations the Squires family have been trading on the Lincolnshire coast, making many friends and building an excellent reputation in the process.

In 1994, when looking for a suitable location for expansion of the business, we were fortunate to find the perfect location on the High Street of the delightfully unspoiled village of Sutton-on-Sea. Just outside of Mablethorpe, this prime spot gave us a commanding position just yards from the beach.

We decided to brand this store as Squire Furnishings and cater mainly to the retirement market as well as the tourist industry. It’s from here that we built our reputation for supplying some of the very best furniture available, combined with our legendary levels of customer service.

We have now been serving Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Cambridgeshire with genuine quality furniture, flooring, beds and home furnishings from our current location in Sutton on Sea since March 18th 1995 and we still trade with the same philosophies today.

This website began in 2005 with just a handful of pages but has grown steadily and is still fully maintained by Andrew Squires.

We are happy to quote on any of the products you see on our website for delivery to anywhere on the UK mainland but are particularly competitive if you live within 100 miles of our base in Sutton on Sea.

A Little More History

During the 1970’s, George and Holly Squires owned Rainbow Caravans (now Greenacres) on South Road, Chapel St Leonards. It was a great time to be alive and the kids enjoyed a very happy upbringing.

However, as competition from the larger players made operating a small site less viable, a move back into the flooring business – where George cut his teeth around Nottingham in the 1950′s – saw the creation of Rainbow Carpets, on Drummond Road, Skegness.

For their next move George and Holly decided to relocate Rainbow Carpets to its current location in Hogsthorpe, near Skegness in order to keep overheads down and find a more central location on the Lincolnshire coast. Now trading as Rainbow Carpets & Beds, the business is still trading from the same location today and is very much involved in supplying carpets and beds to the caravan industry, providing a quality service to the domestic market, as well as complete solutions to hotels and nursing homes.
